VIVA Further Enhances Time-to-Service and Network Performance for Customers in Kuwait with Virtualized Fabric Network Solution from Avaya

VIVA, Kuwait's fastest-growing telecom operator, has implemented a state-of-the-art virtualized network using Avaya Fabric Connect technology to further enhance network robustness and agility, while addressing the additional time-to-service demands of an expanding subscriber base.

The project – delivered with Avaya Connect channel partner Middle East Telecommunications Company (METCO) – the leading integrator of telecommunication and information technology solutions in the Middle East and Africa. In order to provide significant improvement in efficiency, analytical capability, and VIVA’s ability to seamlessly scale to meet projected future growth.  The solution provides VIVA with a fully virtualized network, delivering high availability with integrated self-healing and disaster management capabilities – meaning improved service levels, faster recovery times and happier customers.

A network assessment by the Avaya team isolated areas where legacy technologies and techniques were holding VIVA back.  With a seamless transition to Avaya Fabric Connect technology – a next-generation solution based on the Shortest Path Bridging standard – VIVA now has an end-to-end virtualised network that greatly enhances availability, performance, agility, and time-to-service necessary for VIVA’s highly competitive and dynamic market.
